Anthony “Chip” Morella, PT, is a seasoned physical therapist at Morella Physical Therapy Clinic. He is passionate about applying science-based therapies to help patients recover from injuries and surgeries while improving their overall mobility, function, and quality of life.

Chip earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans. Since starting Morella Physical Therapy Clinic in 1985, he has dedicated his career to serving the tri-city area where he grew up.

Clinical Experience

Chip has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education to stay at the forefront of evidence-based treatment. His therapeutic approach is highly specialized, with a focus on:

  • Orthopedic Rehabilitation: Extensive experience in treating conditions of the shoulder, knee, neck, and back.
  • The McKenzie Method: Specialized training for the effective treatment of neck and back conditions.
  • Dry Needling: Utilizing modern techniques to address muscular pain and movement impairments.

Service & Personal Life

Chip is a lifelong resident of the local community. Having grown up in Patterson and currently residing in Berwick, he is deeply committed to the health and wellness of his neighbors in Morgan City and the surrounding parishes.

When he is away from the clinic, Chip stays active with his large family, which includes seven children and grandchildren. He also enjoys exercising, reading, dining out, and spending quality time with his friends and family.
